I just LOVE this card! I love the colors…I love the flowers…I love the whole thing!
This one is a combination of stamping, Silhouette and the discount bin at Michaels! LOL
But sometimes it takes a little bit of everything to make a card exactly what you want.
Right now Stampin Up has their Sale-a-Bration catalog out. Anytime between now and March 31, 2016, for every $50 you spend, you get to choose one free item from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. And this What I Love stamp set is in that catalog.
These flowers come as a 3 part stamp, but I only used the first step plus the leaves to create the background.
Then I wanted the word friend really big on the card, but didn’t have a stamp. So I used my Silhouette Cameo to find the right font and print and cut it out.
My friend and I had been digging around the discount bins at Michaels last week and I found this fun glittery butterfly.
You know I’ve never been a really girly girl and not such a fan of glitter. But with my card making…I’m finding that the more glitter I add, the better I like it! My inner diva comes out on my cards…lol.
I must really be unhappy with the weather lately…all my cards have been full of flowers and sunshine. BTW, this card 7/366 in my Card a Day 2016 challenge.
