I know Christmas is almost here, but it’s just getting to be Winter and I thought these Stampin Up Snow Place Stamps and Framelits™ would be the perfect set for this time of year!
I just LOVE this set and have already spent hours playing with it. There’s so much you can do…and I haven’t even used all the stamps in the set yet.
I wanted to share a few card ideas with you in this post. I know sometimes you get stamps you love, but then get kind of stuck with how to use them!
Stampin Up Snow Place Stamps
This set comes with 22 photopolymer stamps (the clear ones that you peel and stick to an acrylic block for stamping). Most of the stamps are small accessories to help dress up the snowmen or penguin.
I mostly used white and navy blue card stock to create all these cards. I’ll list all the supplies at the end of the post.
Christmas Card 1
I love this card. It’s clean and simple, yet has layers.
I first cut a sheet of watercolor paper and used 3 shades of blue to watercolor the background. While that dry I cut a piece of white cardstock to look like a hill. I ran the edges along my Night of Navy ink pad to give it a defining line.
I stamped the penguin and gave him a few accessories and then put it all together adding this cute sentiment that comes with the set. Then I cut a piece of navy 8.5″ x 11″ card stock in half to make the perfect little A2 card.
Christmas Card 2
For this one I needed a little help from my Silhouette Cameo. I cut the white and blue circles as well as the base of the “snow globe” with that. I scored the brown base. I used a splatter pattern stamp and white ink to create the “snow”.
I stamped the snowman using the Snow Place Stamp set and then cut it out using the matching Snow Friends Framelits™ Dies and my Sizzix Big Shot die cutting machine (super easy and super fun).
I think after I took this picture I thought the snowman needed more so I added a large candy cane in one hand…there’s so much you can do with this set!
I also added few sparkly embellishments for some bling.
Christmas Card 3
I love this one. I created the background very easily by just stamping Merry Christmas on navy card stock.
I stamped, cut and colored the snowman and penguin using some fun accessories. This card was super easy! The only “different” thing I did was use my Stampin Write markers to color the holly stamp before stamping it so that it came out perfectly.
Then I used Stampin Dimensionals to attach them to the card and make them pop out a bit.

I love this Stampin Up Snow Place Bundle! I’ve created at least 8 cards with this set and still not used all the stamps or combinations possible (sorry not a math whiz…I know there are a ton of combinations, but not sure exactly how many…lol).
What do you love about this set?
